We had Captain Cash from ASB come to visit Room 4. We learnt lots about saving money, spending money and sharing money. Miss Donnell decided to test us and see if we remembered how to sort out the coins and notes from biggest to smallest. Look at my sorting success!

Room 4 have been learning about measurement
this term and our focus has been on time. We
have been learning about lots of forms of time,
from days of the week to ages of people. We
have made our own clocks that can tell different
times of the day that are important to us.

WALT identify 2D and 3D shapes

This term Room 4 have been learning about
shapes. We have been learning about how to
sort shapes and what different shapes look like.

Miss Donnell took us outside to test our knowledge
on what shapes we know. She gave us some
chalk to try and draw the shapes we knew. Then
she said shapes out loud like rectangle, triangle,
a shape with 3 sides and we had to try and draw
them!

WALT read our numbers to 10.

The Sharks have been learning how to read their numbers to 10. We used teddy bear number cards to help us order our numbers. Then we counted the numbers to make sure they were in the right place.
